Chicken Biryani

My usual Sundays have three things in common. Waking up late, watching tv till midnight and having home made Chicken Biryani for lunch. Without any one of these, it would never feel like a Sunday for me. Chicken Biryani ! The most colorful and delicious food item I have ever eaten ! It has all the spices I know. The foreigners who came to India (long before the British and the other Europeans, like Mughals, Turks, etc ) left us many important things which nearly became an identity for us now. Few examples can be Architecture, Literature, Food,etc.,. Even though I studied that all the spices were imported from ancient India to other countries, I don't know how we didn't come up with this delicious spicy food item and Muslims in middle east found it. Initially I wanted to write this blog post about Biryani in general. But after I started my research for this blog post in net, I realized that I will need more than a blog post to cover all of it. May be a separate blog will be sufficient for that !

So I take my most favorite dish from this Biryani category and will share some interesting things I came across my reading. When I say Chicken Biryani, one particular variety of this dish will come to most of the people's mind. That is 'Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani'. But do you know that there are two kind of Chicken Biryani in Hyderabad ? They are called 'Kachchi Biryani' and 'Pakki Biryani'. In the first type, the meat is marinated with the spices overnight and in the latter one it's marinated for only a short time. There are also other kinds of Chicken Biryani available all around the world. Few of those are,

Iraniyan Biryani called 'Biryani Pilaf'
Iraqi Biryani called 'Al Biryani'
Bhatkali Biryani (from Coastal Karantaka)
Kachchi Biryani (from Kutch region)
Lucknowi Biryani called Awadhi or Pukka
Calcutta Biryani
Sindhi Biryani (from Pakistan)
Memoni Biryani (from Karachi)
Kozhikode Biryani (from Kerala)
Danbauk Biryani (from Myanmar)
Thai Biryani (from Thailand)
Srilankan Biryani (from Sri Lanka)
Nari Berinani (from Malaysia)
Filiphino Berinani (from Philippine)

The list doesn't stop here. It is said, that during the Nawab period in Hyderabad, the cooks used to make 49 different kinds of Biryani. Till my school days, I knew only two kind. One is 'home made' and another one is 'hotel made' ! And the difference between those is 'home made' is unlimited; and 'hotel made' is limited to a small plate with only one leg piece and an boiled egg.

But after I came to Mysore for my internship, my knowledge about Chicken Biryani has increased more. And now I can slightly differentiate the different Biryani kinds also. For sample, If you take the Magna food court here, It has two Chicken Biryani providers. 'Madhuram' in one side and 'Pathankot' on the another side. As the names suggest, you can get southern style Biryani in the first one and northern style in the second one. Both are my favorite and each has its plus points. Madhuram's plus point would be, you can get two leg pieces per plate. And whenever I get the Biryani here, my mind will automatically go to a calculation of how many plates of Biryani they would sell each day and how many chickens would have used that day.( I have also wondered how they are getting the chicken every day, because I have never seen a meat van inside the campus during my whole stay of three months.) And the plus point of Pathankot would be it's gravy and the breast piece you get with the Biryani.

But my most favorite place for Chicken Biryani is Amoeba food court. Here the Biryani has rich masala which makes it more spicy and yummy. Also this place have introduced me to more varieties of Chicken Biryani than I have ever came across outside. The few of the Chicken Biryani available here are Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, Chicken Dum Biryani, Chicken Palak Biryani, Chicken Onion Biryani and Sindi Biryani. Even though I could find only minor differences in these dishes, all of these are my favorite and each of it has its own taste which I won't forget for the rest of my life.

And when I think of Chicken Biryani, my thoughts are not only about the taste, but it's also about  few of my favorite movie scenes. The first one would be from 'Cheeni Kum' where Amitabh Bachchan praises Tabu's Hyderabadi Zafrani Pulav thinking that it's from his hotel's kitchen. The argument would be about a small thing that the sweetness in the Biryani is less. But as a food lover and movie lover I could feel both the sweetness in this scene.

The next one would be from 'Rab ne Bandi Jodi' where Shahrukh Khan comes home after a successful Golgappa  competition with Anushka Sharma and finds out that she also cooked Chicken Biryani for him to celebrate her success in dance competition. He will try to eat all of the Chicken Biryani by himself so that Anushka won't feel bad and also not find out that he's her dance companion. This was one of my favorite scenes in this film since it has both my favorite Chicken Biryani and Sharukh Khan in it. 'A One Ji !'.

Last but not least, this dish also reminds me of Altimate Star Ajith Kumar ! Yes, from the tweets of Venkat Prabhu , I came to know that during the shooting of 'Mankatha' they used to have 'Thala Biryani' which was cooked by Ajith himself ! And one of the co actor in this film, Vybhav said in an interview that when he refused to have Biryani since he was on a diet, Ajith took him inside his caravan and made some other dishes for him which has less oil. This shows his humility and also his passion in cooking and sharing that with others.

Thala Biryani

So, when I eat Chicken Biryani, I don't feel only the spices in that plate but also all these spicy thoughts inside my head. It improves my mood and makes me feel light and happy. Hope you also have a favorite dish like this and have some interesting history and lovely thoughts behind it just like mine.

Post Script: When I went to home last week, I had a unique Biryani from my mom. I named it as 'Beans Chicken Biryani' since it had more beans than chicken in it. Even though my mom argued that she mistakenly put the beans in Biryani, I still don't understand how she mistook Biryani for Sambhar !

Pre Script : This blog post was written on 18th Aug, 2011 when I was an intern in Mysore.
After a week of just 'swipe in' in the morning and 'swipe out' in the evening, i was totally bored and little depressed with my monotonous life. So when my friends asked me whether I would like to come out to visit few of the temples nearby, on Varalakshmi festival day, I literally jumped into the opportunity. So after our office hours, we took a bus to Vontikoppal. After entering into the temple's sanctum ( karuvarai ), I realized something which was a shock and also a surprise to me. I didn't know what to ask from god !

Before I explain more about this episode, I should give you some recap about my belief or view about god. For that, I have to give you a small intro to my parents views also. My mom is a very devoted devotee to all the gods in Hindu religion. Daily early morning, she visits the Vinayagar temple near my home and after that she does some poojas in our pooja room also. She also fasts on every Thursday mornings,New moon(Amavasai),Full moon(Pournami), etc etc. Since my dad was working in a different city during my childhood, I spent most of the time in temples with my mom than in playgrounds with my friends. She never runs out of requests to put before god. As per her view, everything happens because of god only. A few examples could be How she got her job, How she and my dad met, How I was born, How my dad got transfer, etc,. Each one of these has a long story behind it and i will probably explain more about these in my future blog posts or in my autobiography !

When coming to my dad, he's totally opposite to my mom. The only reason for him to visit a temple would be either the famous sculptures or the prasadams of that temple. He's always interested in some of the 'isms' like Marxism, Communism, Capitalism, etc,. So when I'm not in a temple with my mom, I would be probably in some meeting with my dad which would be about one of these 'isms' i mentioned above. So during my childhood, my every summer trip's main goal would be either covering all the temples in that area or to attend a meeting there or both.

So after all these confusions in my childhood, I decided that my view on god would be " May be he is there somewhere, Or may he is not !". And I have no hope that I will come to a conclusion and change my view in my life time. So, like a typical human being, When I am happy I don't care whether god is there or not. But when I'm in trouble (Most of the troubles I faced till now are something like, going to school without doing homework or not performing well in the class tests, etc only), I beg for god's help and then show my anger on him when he doesn't provide much help. Next time my prayer will start with an apologize note for my previous insults.

And when it comes to the wishes, I never had problems because most of the time my mom would be there to suggest something. It was a long list and these are the few I can remember now,

'My dad should get transfer...'
'My parents should get their salary increments in time...'
'My parents should get their GPA,PF,etc...'
'My dad should complete his Ph.D successfully...'
'My mom should complete his Ph.D successfully...'

Obviously these are from my mom's side; My wishes were differed like these when i grow up..

School:
'I should get first rank in class...'
'I should get more that 450/500 in 10th...'
'I should get more than 1100/1200 in 12th...'
'I should get a good college in counselling...'
’I should get C.Sc department in that good college…’
College:
'I should get more than 6.0 CGPA...'
'I should pass in all subjects...'
'I should not get any arrears...'
'I should get a job in campus interview itself...'

So, after getting most of my wishes in my life, here I am with a good job in a good company. And also in a place where I'm not sure what I want next ! When I do a brainstorming session inside my brain, these are the wishes I could think of.

Should I ask for a salary increment ?
Last month I got only a few thousands in my bank account as stipend for being an intern and this month I will get double than that as a trainee and next month I will get a few more thousands increment as an employee. So naturally I'm getting salary increment every month. Moreover after seeing the quarterly report of my company, I should be thankful to them for not revoking my job offer, before I ask for an another salary hike.

Should I ask for promotion ?
I haven't even finished my first month in this company; still I'm in my training place to know my production unit and the posting place. And life is not a song comes in Tamil films, where you can reach the top position from bottom within 5 minutes. So I should wait for a long term for this too.
Should I ask for an onsite opportunity ?
Even though I was not confident of my English before, my successful speech and 85% marks in Professional Skills Development has increased my confidence now. But asking for an onsite opportunity as soon as I joined in the company doesn’t feel right. I feel that I have to prove myself in offshore before expect an onsite opportunity.
Should I ask for a new car ?
If my dream car is a Tata Nano or Maruti 800, it would seem fair. But unfortunately, as a fan of James Bond and Transporter films, My dream car is a BMW; or an Audi. I know it’s a very big dream for me. So I have a backup dream car also; It’s a Skoda. After doing a rough calculation,
If I save my salary for 3.5 years without spending even a penny, I will achieve my Skoda dream. So if I ask for a BMW or an Audi to god, he will directly appear before me and ask, “Unaake ithu too mucha theriya ?!!” ( if he is there somewhere !)
Should I ask for a mobile ?
I bought my Nokia X6 last September after a huge fight and two days fasting against my parents. So when I put my idea of buying a Samsung Galaxy S II from my first month salary, My mom started a non stopping lecture (she’s a lecturer in a Govt. Arts College; So giving this kind of lectures is not new to her ), about how we should save our money and reduce our expenses from our first month salary itself. After hearing this lecture for nearly an hour, I even started questioning myself whether I really need a new mobile; But, as soon as the 30 second ad of S II comes in the tv again, I totally forgot this one hour lecture (power of advertising ! ). So asking for a mobile, would be like asking for a 10 million bumper prize in lottery even without buying a single lottery ticket.
Finally, Should I ask for a girlfriend ?
First of all, asking for a girlfriend to god won’t be appropriate. He’s not a marriage broker or a host of some dating website who can help me to hitch with someone. But if I convince myself that he won’t feel bad about it, and willing to help me in this, I’m not sure whether having a girlfriend is a boon or a bane. When I see my friends who are committed or who believes that they are committed, they seems very happy with the all cozy moments in food courts and the ‘kai veesamma kai veesu’ walking they do 24x7 inside the campus which is longer than even the security guards who are on duty. It looks very exciting from a particular distant; but totally opposite from near. If they spend 10 hours of the day speaking in mobile, then the other 14 hours spent on messaging. Also the boys have their other duties like following their girlfriends like a bodyguard where ever they go, recharging for their mobile even though most of the time you will get only missed call from them, etc,. Some of these committed people may argue that there’s a happiness in all these. Even if something like that is in all of these, I’m not sure whether I’m ready to live another person’s life also with mine now.
So after thinking about all of these for a long time, I came to a decision. Next time I go to a temple, first I’m going to thank the god for giving me this good job and also add that I would be more thankful If he clears my mind to see what do I want next in my life !

My Name

Last week I had to give a speech for my final assessment of Professional Skills Development. When the preferable topics were shown in the power-point slide, people started to jump in quickly and grab the topics they liked. I was blank for a minute, then I thought of choosing 'Diamonds Are Forever' as my topic. But all I can come up with this topic are, the novel and the movie of James Bond. When I started to read the story-line of it in Wikipedia, I got confused within first five lines, got bored in ten lines and totally lost in the fifteenth line.So I rejected this topic also. Then I noticed a topic in which no one was interested. It was a topic which needed no preparation and research ! May be the others thought that this topic doesn't worth for a speech or they didn't have anything to share about it. Thus I decided to choose my topic as 'My Name' and got it without any competition.

If I roughly calculate the time I spent on thinking in my whole life, at least 30% of it would be spent on my name. But the perception of this thought would differ in many ways like, How cool is my name ? , Is my name really cool ?, Do I like my name or hate it ?, Would it be nice if I had another name ?,etc., So when I shared some of these in the class as my speech, every one liked it. So I'm modifying it as a blog post and posting it here.

As most of you know, my name is 'Tamilnambi'. Most of the time I had to repeat my name twice or thrice for people to understand it. Even though only half of them would get it right. Especially the guys who take pizza order via phone, never get my name correct. The name on the bill would be a different one, after going through some permutation combinations. Last time, the name on the bill was 'Tamil Nadu' !

However, Nowadays I don't get mad when people find my name difficult to understand or pronounce. The reason might be I learnt my responsibility to explain them when they are wrong or I just got used to it. When I was in school and college, my friends used to make fun of my name (some of them still do it), by calling me with names like 'English Nambi', 'Hindi Nambi',etc,. If I get angry for that, they argued with me why there can't be names like these, when there can be a name like 'Tamilnambi'. But how the hell am I supposed to know that ? I didn't start this trend of naming everything like 'Tamil...'. We can justify it by saying that we love  our language more and doing this to show it. But other people also love their language and they don't show it in this way. So, is the mistake on our Tamil people for their obsession with Tamil language or is it on others for not obsessed enough to come up with names like these ?

When it comes to the adults (including my teachers ), they always think that they are are very smart and ask me " Whether you trust Tamil or Tamil trusts you ?" (they took the meaning as 'Tamil' + 'Nambi(belief)'). This question always irritates me, because I don't like people who chop my name and reshuffle it the way they like and ask silly questions about it. It also irritates me why people always to this my name, when they don't have any issues with other names like 'Ramesh', 'Suresh', 'Rajesh', etc,.

However, for all those who don't know the real meaning of my name, 'Tamil' not only signifies the language but also the people who speak it and where they live. And 'Nambi' means a leader or a king. So literally my name means A king or a leader to the Tamil people.

Other than this pride, my name also has some extra advantages. For example, because of its uniqueness, I never have difficulty in finding my name in any list. If there is a Tamilnambi in the list, then definitely that would be me. And while creating online accounts, I never face problems like 'username not available'. Go to any social networking sites like twitter, facebook, Google+,etc and search for 'Tamilnambi'; my account will be the first one in the search results. In fact, you can easily find me in google too. I'm the second most popular Tamilnambi in the world, thanks to my hundreds of friends in facebook and followers in twitter. The first Tamilnambi was a lyricist who wrote devotional songs. So my life aim is to beat him and capture the No. One place.

So after all these research about my name, if someone ask me now that what is the most special thing about me, I have the perfect answer for them. It is 'My Name'.

Larry Crowne

I'm trying to remember the last time when I saw Tom Hanks in the big screen but I can't remember it. Because the only Tom Hanks' film I saw in a theater was 'Toy Story 3', and that film has only his voice.

So when my friends wanted to watch this film I decided to join with them, even though I didn't read any good reviews about it in twitter. I don't want to go too much into the story of this film because I would say that the story of this film is not like a basement or floor which holds the building; it's more like a carpet which makes it look better. when I try to remember this film now, I don't get any deep thoughts or feelings. All I get are, like some pleasant photographs of sceneries which you can see while you driving your car. You don't spend much of your time on this sceneries by stopping your car here and there. But still it is a pleasant one, which you enjoys even without you realize it.

I think my connection to this movie is made because of the classes that Larry Crowne(Tom Hanks) taken in this film. Since he's fired from work for his lack of college education, he again goes to college to take a few courses like a communication class about speaking and an economy course. Since I'm doing my Professional Skills Development course now, I feel this connection. It reminds me of both my college days and my training period here.

After watching this film, All of my friends who suggested this film didn't like it except me. Everyone was asking what's the point in this film. But I feel why do you need a point for a film. I know that Tom Hanks' films are notable for its strong story lines, like 'Cast Away', 'Apollo 13', 'The Terminal', etc,. But our life is not always exciting or full of emotional like those films. Mostly it consists of small happy and sad moments which defines our life. When we face some difficulties, we feel that all our life we didn't have anything other than sufferings and wonder why life is so hard for us. But when this event opens us an another door which leads us to the next step or level of our life, then we realize that all happens for a reason. These small things only helps us to move our life without any boredom. ( For all those who believe that a film should definitely have a point, you can take this as your point.)

So stop expecting some big sudden life changing miracles when you wake up every morning and learn to enjoy the small moments, the life offers you. Again coming to this movie, I can't assure you whether you'll like it or not. Because what I learned today is, there are no bad movies and good movies. Some movies suit your mood or mindset and others don't.

P.S : If you have also watched this movie and felt that I'm trying to say good things about it only because I like Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, well.. you might be right.

Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai - அழகர்சாமியின் குதிரை

Last week I noticed a book in one of my classroom tables and it pleasantly surprised me for two reasons. One, It was a tamil story book and I never thought that my friends still have some good habits like reading tamil books other than kungumam and Anandha Vikatan. Second reason was name of the book: ‘Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai’ by Baskar Sakthi. I was really keen to watch this movie for the past few weeks but couldn’t get the opportunity, since I’m in Mysore for my internship. So instantly I borrowed the book from my friend and started reading it. When I opened the index page, I was little disappointed because that book was a collection of stories by Baskar Sakthi and ‘Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai’ covered only the last 50 pages. But when I read through that short novel (I hope this is the proper English word for ‘kurunovel') I got more fulfillment than I expected. It satisfies my long time regret of not visiting a village by .

So when I came home this weekend, I finally got the chance to watch it. And after watching this film, I can assure you that this is one of the very few films which give you the fulfillment of reading a whole novel. Whenever a film is based on a book, the story of the book will be shortened, modified and patched up for the screenplay which almost crucifies the true essence of the story (e.g. Harry Potter series). It’s always like you are stitching a shirt from the cloth which is enough for two shirts and still it’s short for you. But this film is like you are buying a shirt in a buy 1 get 1 offer. The main reason for this is, the story and the dialogues for the movie is written by the author of the novel, Baskar Sakthi himself. So the scenes added in the movie to make it as a full feature film doesn’t give you any hindrance while watching the film. Especially the scene where the village committee collects tax for the festival is very humorous and worth mentioning.

The other important aspect of this movie, which should be definitely mentioned is the music composed by Ilaiyaraja. Whether it is the songs or the background score, it burnishes the film more. Especially the ‘kuthikara kuthikara’ song sung by Ilaiyaraja himself is splendid. The actors acted in this film like Appukutty, Saranya Mohan, etc., also did their job perfectly to make this film more pleasurable. The major appreciation in this movie should go to the director of the film, Susindran, who got enough nerves to come again to make a movie like this after directing the big movie ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’, and the producer of this film, Gautham Vasudev Menon, for encouraging directors to make different movies like this.

So if you haven’t watched this film yet and if this film is still screened in your city, don’t miss the chance, watch it before they take this movie out (Because last week itself, it got a very few viewers here in Coimbatore). But unfortunately if you couldn’t catch this movie in theaters, don’t worry. Soon it’ll be telecasted in some channel as ‘Indhiya/ Ulaga tholakatchigalil muthal muraiyaga..’. So totally this is a movie which you shouldn’t miss it.

The Expendables

Hi friends.. After i started tweeting i lost the interest in writing something for my blog. To be frank, i became lazy. So I found out a new way to update my blog. After a watching a movie, I always tweet about it. From now onwards, I am going to post that tweets here also. Hope you like it. I'm starting this new idea with 'The Expendables'.

The Expendables is good.. not the best.. could have been better..

the movie is too slow, but the climax was better than the rest of the film.. #expendables

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Wills came for guest appearance only.. but Steve Austin is wasted in this film.. very disappointed.. #expendables

for this huge star cast, Silvester Stallone should have come with a better story.. the story of the film is very normal n boring.. #expendables

the only plus point of the movie is its star cast and their action moves.. but u can see those very rarely.. #expendables

for example, i like the way Silvester Stallone reloaded his revolver in the climax.. it's only for a 30 seconds, but it was awesome..#expendables

So i am giving 2.5/5 for #expendables.. if u don't have any other plan for the weekend, then watch it...

Clash of the Titans

Hi people. It’s been ages since I updated my blog. Last weekend my college conducted a techfest called ‘Anokha’. But I bunked it to go home and watch some new films. To make this as something useful, I want to put my thoughts as posts here. This is not a professional review. It’s just what I felt about these films. You may feel different about these films and you are welcome to share it in the comments.

I managed to buy tickets for ‘Clash of the Titans 3D’ for the first day itself and I went to the night show with my friend who has no idea about Greek mythology. The theater was house full, thanks to Avatar for making the people to know the differences between 2D and 3D films. Only few like me were there to watch the film for its story too. The people came to see the 3D effects got bored within half an hour and lost their interest in the film. My friend slept for a while too. I don’t know why they wanted to release this film as a 3D film in the last minute. They couldn’t add any 3D effects other than in the end credits. But most people would be already out of the theater, when the end credits come. Some were even confused whether the 3D glasses were the reason for lack of the effects. As for me, the glasses didn’t do anything much other than making the screen gloomy.

Apart from it, if you came to the other aspects of the film, it was a decent one. Even though they tweaked the original story for their comfort, it didn’t bother me much after watching some film series like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, etc.,. The only thing you can relate this film with the Greek mythology will be the names like Perseus, Andromeda, Medusa, Zeus, etc. By the way, I didn’t know there was a Black Pegasus in that ages and it was larger than the white ones. May be the creators of “Age of Mythology’ missed it in the previous versions of the game and will include it in the upcoming ones. As per the Greek mythology, The Pegasus sprang from the blood of Medusa, when Perseus beheaded her. But in this film, it came to visit Perseus once, even before he kills Medusa. But after all, when our ancestors had the rights to make stories of winged horses, there is no wrong if we took the rights to introduce a new breed of Pegasus in black color. But above than all of this, I have a big confusion in the film title itself. Why did they name this film as ‘Clash of the Titans’ when there is no connection between this film story and the Titans?

I started this post with the thought of sharing you about the good special effects aka graphics made in this film for Medusa, Pegasus, Kraken, etc., and the good work by done by actors like Sam Worthington. But I was dragged away in the other things what I noticed in the film. After all, people need someone like me to write
the minus points of the film in blogs to make reading more interesting, right?

So If you don’t know anything Greek mythology or don’t give any **** about whatever they do to the story of gods (I just wanted to share the changes made to the story of Perseus in the film, in the previous paragraph. Other than that I don’t care about the story of gods who had no work other than impregnating all the nymphs and women who came across them) and interested in fantasy stories, it’ll be a nice film to spend a two and half hours in a fantasy world.

Today i desperately wanted to see a film. I already booked 'My Name is Khan' for saturday. So had to choose some other movie. So i asked my mom to choose between 'tamil padam' and 'tvp'.My mom chose tvp and here i am after a two and half hour lenghty movie.

After the movie starts, I felt like i returned to my classes even before the holidays end. Started brightly in the beginning and when it's going on and on, i started yawning continously. Even though Sandhanam and Vishal did some comedies throughout the film to keep us focus on the screen, they failed at last. There's no need for a show like 'lollu sabha' to spoof this movie. Because Sandhanam did it then and there itself. His dialogues always resemble the comments made in the theater by the audiance. Mouli also did a fair job as vishal's dad.

Even though vishal did comedy scenes all over the movie(including climax..!!!), sandhanam gets more whistles than him.But it's really a relief to see that 'puratchi thalapathi' didn't jump into a fight in the second reel itself like our 40 year old '"illaia" thalapathi'. When you see prakashraj as a brother of one of the heroines, you may think "aiyoo.. marupadiyuma..!!!". But when the movie goes on, you will desperately wish that he'll come again to the scenes so the movie can end soon.

To write about the heroines in this movie, all are too hot and too dumb. They call each other 'loosu' in this movie and they are really loosu for selcting this movie. The director not only thought that the actresses were loosu but the audience also. Because there are many flaws in the film like neetu and tanushree arranged rowdies to beat vishal and when vishal's hospitalised they came to vishal's mother and say that they realised what is meant by true love from his love with Sarah(wtf..!!). And the reason Sarah accepts Vishal at climax is also crap.

When coming to the songs, even the good job by yuvan, overseas locations, foreign girls and three heroines failed to stop the audiance from going out. I'm sure that the food court guys would be confused and wondered that how many intermissions that this film has..!!! When all are excepting climax, the last song came and it was like one of the professor coming to class at 4 pm and saying that the students have evening classes till 6 pm. Half of the crowd went out and remaining ppl started to chat among themself. When the movie ends it was like closing bell in a school where all ppl are really happy to come out.

This is definitely not the best film in Vishal's career but there's no doubt that this movie will be in the first place for next upcoming months in Sun TV top ten. I won't even hesitate for a one crore challange about this..

So if you are a normal person(like me..) who can't get a single girl for this valentines day also and couldn't make ppl to fly with a single punch, imagine that you are the hero of this film, then you will love this film.. To say about this movie in a single line : "செமக் காமெடி சார் நீங்க.."

After the movie ends i asked my mom about it and she said," It's ok da. After all, Vishal is the second most person i like after Vadivelu.."

P.S : I don't have any personal vengeance with Vishal or Sun Pictures. I just had a very funny evening and want to share with u guys..This is my first full review of a movie and i'm typing it in notepad because my trail period for MS Word finished. So please forgive if there's any spelling or grammatical mistakes in this.Let me know your comments..
